Procurement priorities
Define the part function, operating temperature, contact media and assembly method before comparing tooling quotations. Drawings, material specifications and acceptance criteria help establish a consistent review scope.
Part and interface review
For housings, covers, mounting features and fluid-related components, identify mating surfaces, fastening points, seals and service access. Supply pressure, leakage or chemical-resistance requirements where they apply; these are project-specific requirements, not implied ratings for the examples shown.
Mold priorities
Review wall transitions, ribs, bosses, draft, undercuts, gate position, ejection and dimensional stability against the supplied CAD. Agree the inspection method and sample acceptance criteria before final tool design.
